Caesar Salad Recipe

I love caesar dressing, but I'm not very fond of bottled dressings. This led me to making my own caesar dressing and it is just as good as the fancy restaurants. I don't put an egg or anchovies because to me that's just weird and it still tastes amazing! Needless to say, I usually always have a jar of this in my fridge. It's so easy and cheap to make! (Mainly because the ingredients are items that I already have)

Oh, and I tend to have an awful habit of not measuring things just putting it in according to taste. In other words, my measurements might be a tad off. I recommend tasting it and adding to your liking!

Ingredients:
Half of a Lemon (for the juice)
4 Cloves of Garlic, Chopped
1 Tablespoon of Dijon Mustard
1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce
2 Cups of Mayonnaise*
1/2 to 1 Cup of Parmesan
Dash of Pepper

*For a healthier version with less calories, exchange the mayonnaise for greek yogurt.

1. Add the Lemon Juice, Garlic, Dijon Mustard, and Worcestershire Sauce in the bowl. Mix with whisk. Add the Mayonnaise and mix again. Add the Parmesan, mix, and then taste. Ask yourself, "Does this taste like Caesar Dressing?" Then lastly, add the pepper.

I can't really tell you how long it lasts because this dressing seems to go fast. I may or may not put it on everything.... Anyways, there's my boyfriend cleaning the mason jar. He is not amused.

I love you guys.

Doctor Who Outfit (the lady's version)

First off, I have been severely slacking. I could say it's because I've been busy but in reality I've been so lazy.

So I love Doctor Who, I mean I'm obsessed with it but only with the Matt Smith version. There's just something about him that makes me think that he is the perfect Doctor. Thank you Moffat for choosing him! Back to the point, I love his outfit and I thought I bet a girl could pull off his look and still look classy. I tried to find everything that would look good together and still look like the Eleventh Doctor. Sadly for me, some of the items are a little pricey but that doesn't mean that you can't find these items in a thrift store (which is exactly what I plan on doing). Here is the gist of what it should look like though:

Besides the jacket, everything is reasonably priced! I personally would love to see more lovely ladies dressed like this. Anyways, I hope you have a fezz wearing type of day!

Homeward Bound

My amazing little sisters and me.

Tyler, Shannon, Me, & Zach at Cowboy Up

Mark (my brother), Mandy, and Nora at BBQ
I recently got the chance to go back home for a week. It was the first time in almost a year. I hadn't realized how much I missed it until I went back. I missed the simplicity, the quiet, the clouds, the stars, and the people. It was a really fun time but it was also kind of depressing. Mainly because it was one of those self-realization trips. I ended up realizing much things have changed, how much I've changed, that nothing stays the same, even when you wish they would, and I also realized that old habits don't die.

I'd be lying to you if I said that this past year of my life had been easy. Making a move that big is never easy especially when your family is all across the country. So I had this thought that my whole life might have changed but I can always find comfort in everything remaining the same when I go home. It was still a really fun trip and I'm so thankful that I got to do and see everyone that I did. I learned nothing remains the same, we can't put all our energy into thinking of past, we have to keep moving, focusing on now, making new memories, and NEVER EVER taking for granted what we have.

The pictures on the right are some of the photos from my trip.

Also in the spirit of moving forward, I made a new goal list, and I will share it soon!

Miss you always,
Clarissa
